THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED OUR 2008 GARDEN TOUR!!!!  It was our biggest event in 8 years of business!!!  Visitors came from all over - some drove several days to come see the display of daylilies - numerous folks came from at least 5 other states, others came from all 4 corners of Missouri as well as Mid-Missouri.  WE LOVE HAVING EACH OF YOU COME VISIT!     ******** Photos from the 2007 Garden Tour   ======================================== (Picture to the left) Mary Powell (Alex's sister) and Anna Fife (Alex's mother) greet folks at the Welcome Tent and provide information about where to find everything. They also answer questions about the 1854 antebellum home that has been in the family since 1871.

It is always a great weekend in the country... bloom can be bright and beautiful with thousands of daylilies in bloom Over 1000 individuals visit Lilywood Farms during these two days.

The Fife daughers and their husbands contribute during the Garden Tour - their help is priceless!!  They put in a lot of hours before, during and after the two day event - we could not do it without them!  We also have friends and other family members who volunteer a weekend each year to help us "put on" the garden tour.  MANY THANKS to each of them! =========================================     Scotty (oldest daughter Julie's husband)  helps customers pick out just the right seedlings for their garden and digs the clump for them...
