PLACING AN ORDER

 

Orders may be placed by phone, mail, e-mail or on our website.  Although we grow a large number of varieties of cultivars, some are only available in limited quantities. Please include substitution suggestions or check for availability before ordering.  We include bonus plants with all orders $25 and over (daylily plant costs before tax and/or shipping & handling - collections are excluded – bonus plants are our choice).

 

PICKING UP AN ORDER AT LILYWOOD FARMS OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND [FALL DIGGING DAYS]

 

It is our goal to deliver freshly dug healthy plants and the best customer service possible. To provide that service we have found it necessary to implement a policy regarding picking up plants at the farm.  When an order is scheduled to be picked up during our Fall Digging Days (Labor Day weekend) our customers will be notified by postcard of the dates and times [Saturday through Monday]. Any order that is not picked up by the end of the day on Monday (Labor Day) without prior arrangements will be assessed a $7.00 fee for repotting and maintaining plants until they are picked up [this is necessary to ensure quality plants].  Five days after Labor Day any remaining plants will be replanted. There will be an additional $7.00 fee if it is necessary to re-dig an order. In case of an emergency situation that would prevent the customer from picking up their order in a timely fashion, call (660-273-2531) to make other arrangements.  We will make EVERY EFFORT to accommodate reasonable pick up arrangements.

 

RETURN POLICY

 

Our nursery is state inspected; plants are freshly dug and properly prepared for shipping.  If for any reason you are not pleased with the plants when you receive them, DO NOT PLANT.  Return them with the ORIGINAL LABELS within 1-3 business days for a full refund of the cost of the plant(s).  Shipping costs are non-refundable.  We cannot assume responsibility for plant losses after delivery. 

 

 

 

SHIPPING

 

USPS Priority Mail is our method of shipping for mainland U.S. orders (see order form for cost). We ship to any part of the United States.  We ship internationally. Shipping and Phytosanitary certificate costs for international orders are quoted individually.

 

SHIPPING SEASON: May 1 through May 31.  (We do not ship during peak bloom season.)   SHIPPING RESUMES August 15 through October 10. Shipping to Zones 1 - 5 is not recommended after September 15 due to growing seasons. Shipping is always as weather permits.

 

We guarantee freshly dug, true-to-name plants. We send double fans or better when possible, unless otherwise stated. Lilywood Farms is a Missouri state inspected nursery.  All plants are field grown.  We do not, nor have we ever had rust in our gardens or production fields.

It is always our intention to provide the best possible photo images for our catalog. However photo images are not always fully accurate.  As a result, please read and rely upon the written descriptions rather than depending solely upon the picture when ordering.

Joining AHS is a great way to learn more about daylilies and to network with others who enjoy gardening.  Membership is just $25 per year for one person or $30 per year for 2 people, same household.  This includes the quarterly Daylily Journal.
